Forma de conducción que fomenta el porte natural del olivo. Las plantas tienen un porte arbustivo, con un tronco corto, y se encuentran a muy poca distancia unas de otras en la hilera, con lo que forman una vegetación continua. Sigue utilizándose como cortavientos, por lo general con variedades de porte erguido.
