Forma di allevamento che asseconda molto il portamento naturale dell’olivo. Le piante hanno un portamento cespuglioso, con un breve fusto, e sono molto ravvicinate lungo la fila in modo da formare una vegetazione continua. Continua ad essere usata per la costituzione di frangivento, in genere con cultivar assurgenti.
