The International Olive Council (IOC) and Italy’s Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster collaboration in olive research, training and technical cooperation.
Signed on 17 November 2025 by IOC Executive Director Jaime Lillo and CREA President Andrea Rocchi, the agreement outlines joint initiatives in scientific research, educational activities, technology transfer and knowledge exchange to support sustainability, innovation and resilience in the olive sector.
The partnership reflects both institutions’ commitment to advancing scientific excellence and sustainable development for the benefit of producers, professionals and rural communities.
