Uso de máquinas provistas de barras de corte constituidas por discos que giran a una velocidad de 2.000-3.500 giros/min., accionadas por motores hidráulicos. Las barras pueden cortar ramos y ramas en posición vertical, horizontal o inclinada, a distinta altura de la copa.
