The IOC’s Advisory Committee will gather in Siena on 29 May
The IOC’s Advisory Committee (AC) for Olive Oil and Table Olives will meet next Wednesday, May 29, in Siena (Italy), at the invitation and with the active collaboration of the Italian authorities. This committee is a key interlocutor for the organization’s Council of Members and the Executive Secretariat. Bringing together representatives from all the families that make up the olive oil and table olive sector of IOC member countries – ranging from producers and processors to traders and consumers – the AC is an essential forum for discussions about the olive sector’s present and future. It was established with the aim of gathering the opinions and sharing the experiences of the sector’s economic actors who, thanks to their in-depth field knowledge, are well placed to assist the IOC in enhancing its impact and developing solutions to the sector’s challenges.
