The Executive Secretariat of the International Olive Council has decided to hold webinars with some of its member countries to discuss their specific needs for developing their domestic olive sectors.
So far, meetings have been scheduled with Georgia (22 February 2021) and Lebanon (26 February 2021), and plans are being made with Morocco and Uruguay too.
The Executive Secretariat has also extended this practice to countries that have expressed interest in joining the Organisation in the near future, such as Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mauritania and Uzbekistan.
The Executive Secretariat intends to continue holding these meetings in order to spread awareness about its mission, to inform countries about the role of the IOC in the global olive sector and to give the Organisation better visibility.
