The IOC Mario Solinas Quality Award recognizes the best extra virgin olive oils
The Mario Solinas Quality Award competition has been organized annually by the IOC since the 2000/01 crop year. The competition recognizes the best extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) from all over the world. It encourages individual producers, producer associations and packers to maintain high-quality standards, and raises consumers’ awareness about the outstanding qualities of these premium olive oils.
This edition will recognize the EVOOs from the northern hemisphere that exhibit the most exceptional organoleptic qualities within each established category.
The rules for the 24th edition of the Mario Solinas Quality Award for the northern hemisphere EVOOs are available here in English, French, and Spanish.
The deadline for submitting the samples and required documents is Wednesday 14 February, 2024. All material should be submitted by then to the IOC headquarters, open from Tuesday to Friday and located on Calle Príncipe de Vergara 154, 28002 Madrid, Spain.
