The International Olive Council (IOC) reminds all stakeholders that the deadline to register for participation in the pilot phase of the Carbon Balance Project is tomorrow, 30 May 2025. This pilot phase marks a major milestone in the IOC’s efforts to create a methodology and easy-to-use software for olive sector operators to measure the carbon balance of their olive groves.
We invite all registered participants and the general public to join the official launch and training session on Wednesday, 4 June 2025 at 10:00 (Madrid time). The session will provide an overview of the project, an introduction to the methodology and training on the digital tools developed to support data collection and calculation.
