IOC: A seminar on the future of the olive sector

Presentation of the international seminar on the future of the olive oil sector

 On 26 November 2020, key figures will come together to discuss the future of the international olive sector live from IOC headquarters in Madrid.

To announce and present the initiative, Executive Director Abdellatif Ghedira will hold a press conference on Friday 20 November from 1pm. The international seminar will be one of the most important events in the programme to celebrate World Olive Day, and this year’s celebrations mark the first anniversary of its creation by UNESCO.

The seminar will be attended by some of the world’s leading experts in the olive-growing sector and a special section dedicated to women in olive oil. Contributions will be made from all over the world, including representatives from Jordan, Italy and the United States.

The seminar programme will be published on the website on Friday 20 November during the press conference. Follow us on www.internationaloliveoil.org.
