IOC CAROUSEL: THE NEW TOOL FROM THE OBSERVATORY The IOC has launched its carousel. A website carousel is an effective way of displaying images and content in a single place. It not only saves space on the screen, but also highlights important content and improves the overall aesthetic of the website. This new project will present important and updated information, mainly on the olive oil economy and statistics. By clicking on the (+) sign under an image, users will be redirected to the corresponding static page.
These files are elaborated monthly by the Economy and Statistics Department, in collaboration with the Observatory Department, to provide information on production, consumption, exports and imports and on trends in the prices of virgin and refined olive oils in the main markets in each reference period.
