Amman - The next meeting of the Advisory Committee, the consultative body of the IOC Executive Secretariat for matters relating to the olive oil and table olive sector, will be held in Amman (Jordan) on 24 and 25 April. The meeting is being held in Amman at the invitation of the Jordanian authorities and olive sector. At the meeting, the Executive Secretariat will present an update on its activities in the areas of olive oil chemistry, technology and environment, economy and promotion, and financial and administrative affairs. An update will also be given on the progress made on the platform of the new IOC Observatory, which begins its activities in January 2018.
