The International Olive Council intends to hold the 2nd international course for leaders of table olive tasting panels at IOC headquarters in Madrid from 9 to 13 June 2014.
The objective of the course is to equip future panel leaders with the necessary technical and practical grounding to organise and run a table olive sensory testing laboratory and panel of tasters.
Expected course participants will be technical officers from IOC member countries which have the facilities to create a table olive tasting panel or are in the process of setting up such facilities.
The IOC will make all the arrangements for the course but will not cover the cost of participation.
Only one (1) person may participate from each member country; however, if places are available, this number may be increased. A maximum of 20 participants is expected.
The Executive Secretariat invites Members to designate potential candidates by submitting their applications via e-mail by 18 April 2014.
