Madrid – Esther Barrett (pictured), currently working in the IOC’s Translation Department, will be taking her leave of the IOC on 13 July to take up a position in Geneva. In her brief but intense period working in the Executive Secretariat of the IOC, Ms Barrett has distinguished herself through her availability, efficiency and professionalism. In the photograph, Ms Barrett receives the best wishes of the Executive Director, Abdellatif Ghedira, and the two Deputy Executive Directors, Jaime Lillo and Mustapha Sepetçi, at a small farewell event at the headquarters. This event was attended by almost all the staff members of the Executive Secretariat, who joined the College of Senior Officials in wishing her every success in her future career.
