مصطلح يُستخدم للدلالة على المحافظة على معايير الاستدامة (أي القدرة على استمرار الإنتاج مع الحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية) في عملية الإنتاج الزراعي، وتعتمد على تطبيق تقنيات زراعية قادرة على المحافظة على البيئة والتنوع الحيوي والقدرة الطبيعية على امتصاص مخلفات الأرض.
