Issue Nr 119 of OLIVAE is just out in the five official languages of the IOC (Arabic, English, French, Italian and Spanish). For the first time, OLIVAE is a truly scientific journal dedicated in its entirety to scientific aspects of olive growing and olive oil at the request of the IOC Council of Members. The articles in this issue range over the subject areas of olive leaf characterisation, chemical composition of olive oils from different origins and olive oil traceability. From now on, science will be the common denominator of all the articles published in the journal.
As of the next issue Nr 120, an outside Board of Editors and a team of peer reviewers will be up and running.
