Applications open until 14 September 2026
The International Olive Council (IOC) has launched a new call for proposals to support promotional programmes aimed at increasing the consumption of olive oil and table olives in IOC member countries. Public bodies and private non-profit organisations are invited to apply for funding for projects to be carried out in 2026 or over a multiannual period of up to four years.
With a total budget of €64,100, the grants will support initiatives such as promotional campaigns, seminars, workshops, trade fair activities, educational materials and national extra virgin olive oil quality competitions. IOC funding may cover up to 50% of eligible costs, with a maximum contribution of €6,000 per beneficiary per year.
The programme aims to encourage innovative and impactful actions that promote olive oil and table olives, strengthen consumer awareness and highlight the quality and value of olive products across IOC member countries. Particular attention will be given to projects demonstrating strong stakeholder involvement, effective communication strategies and creative approaches.
Proposals must be submitted electronically by 14 September 2026, with selected projects expected to begin from 15 October 2026.
The IOC encourages eligible organisations throughout its membership to take advantage of this opportunity and contribute to raising the profile of olive products in their national markets.
