INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON OLIVE OIL & HEALTH

The 3rd international Yale symposium and IV congress of olive oil and health will turn Jaén into a world benchmark in research on the olive sector. The Executive Secretariat of the International Olive Oil Council will follow and disseminate the results of the work of these international events. Registration is open until 11 Novembe

The Provincial Council sponsors this congress, co-organized by the University of Jaén and the North American University of Yale, which will be held from December 9 to 12 next.

Through this scientific event we will learn about the latest research and studies on olive oil and health, including also the analysis of a sustainable olive growing, which is an engine of change and social transformation, which generates employment and wealth, and which acts at the forefront in the face of climate change and the demographic challenge.

This is a major scientific event that will attract world-renowned experts from all over the world who will discuss topical issues. Registration is open until 11 November and further information is available at this link: http://beolivecongress.com/

SYMPOSIUM INTERNATIONAL SUR L’HUILE D’OLIVE ET LA SANTÉ

JAÉN (ANDALOUSIE) – Le 3e symposium international de Yale et le IVe congrès sur l’huile d’olive et la santé feront de Jaén une référence mondiale en matière de recherche sur le secteur oléicole. Le Secrétariat exécutif du Conseil oléicole international suivra et diffusera les résultats des travaux de ces événements internationaux. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes jusqu’au 11 novembre.

La province de Jaén parraine ce congrès coorganisé par l’Université de Jaén et l’Université nord-américaine de Yale, qui se tiendra du 9 au 12 décembre prochain.

Cet événement scientifique sera l’occasion d’informer sur les derniers résultats des recherches et études menées sur l’huile d’olive et la santé, mais également d’analyser le concept d’oléiculture durable, moteur de changement et de transformation sociale, génératrice d’emplois et de richesse, qui agit en première ligne face au changement climatique et au défi démographique.

The IOC and the University of Navarra, through OHIS (the Olive Health Information System), a platform dedicated to research on the health properties of olive oil and table olives, publish a weekly or bi-weekly collection of scientific articles and summaries of research carried out in this field.
