The Executive Director has donated some sample olive oils to the Foundation of the Order of Malta in Spain to be used in the Order’s kitchens to care for the homeless and people pushed to society’s fringes.
This institution is of particular interest to the IOC and we make this contribution at a time where many are in need of support while we weather the pandemic. The Order of Malta in Spain currently provides more than 800 meals a day, 7 days a week.

The Sovereign Order of Malta was created in 1113 and is subject to international law. It has diplomatic relations with over 100 states and the European Union, and is a permanent observer at the United Nations. Today, the Order of Malta is active in 120 countries and cares for people in need through its medical, social and humanitarian projects
