The purpose of this procedure is to hire the services of a company to conduct the olive oil interlaboratory tests organised by the International Olive Council (IOC), to perform the statistical processing of the test results, the training of laboratories and panels, the organisation of ring tests, as well as the management of olive oil samples for IOC-organised activities (workshops, Mario Solinas Quality Award, reference materials, training) and the provision of technical assistance to the IOC.
