The IOC may grant institutional patronage to activities of relevance to the olive sector, including congresses, seminars, meetings, conferences, award ceremonies, competitions and other public events that contribute to the objectives of the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives, 2015.
Institutional patronage is granted exclusively for a specific activity and for a limited period. It authorises the use of the IOC’s name, acronym and/or logo as a sign of institutional support. Such patronage does not entail any financial contribution, legal liability or operational responsibility on the part of the IOC.
Applications for institutional patronage must be submitted in accordance with the procedures and forms available on this page.
For national extra virgin olive oil quality competitions, applicants should follow the specific procedure and submit the documentation available on the Standardisation and Research Unit page.
