In December, the annual variation rate of the Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) for olive oil in the EU-27 stood at +21.7%.
The HICP in the EU-27 in the month of December stood at 123.5 (2015 = 100).
The variation rate of the HICP stood at +21.7% compared to the same period previous crop year or +3.8% compared to the previous month.
By countries, the largest increases took place in France, Ireland, Poland and Romania while Denmark, Portugal, Italy and Germany reached the smallest increases. 5 countries remains above the EU-27 value.
