What the Division does

The Division of Human Resources & Administrative and Financial Affairs is run by a Head of Division, who reports directly to the Executive Director.

 

 

Human Resources Service

Management of all matters concerning IOC personnel in line with United Nations rules and the IOC Staff Rules and Regulations.

 

 

Administrative Affairs Service

- Planning and management of the strictly administrative tasks of the IOC, in close cooperation with the Human Resources Service and the Financial Affairs Service.

- Organisation of IOC sessions and meetings held at both the headquarters and elsewhere.

- Maintenance and upkeep of the headquarters building.

- Running of the computer and reprographic sections and translation service.

 



Financial Affairs Service

Management of IOC income proceeding from the contributions paid by the members according to a budget drawn up by the Service. The budget is submitted each year to the IOC Financial Committee for subsequent approval and endorsement at the plenaries of the autumn session of the IOC, in line with the provisions of the International Olive Oil and Table Olive Agreement, the IOC rules of procedure and the Financial Committee rules of procedure.
